Step-by-Step Printer Driver Setup (TCP/IP Port)
Follow our certified technician procedure to configure your office copier via static IP address on Windows or macOS.
Identify Copier IP & Download Driver
Check your copier's physical touch panel for its local IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.250). Download the corresponding UFR II or PCL6 driver package from our repository above and extract the .zip archive to your Downloads folder.
Open Windows Printers & Scanners
Press Windows Key + I > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners > Click 'Add device'. Wait a few seconds, then click the manual link: 'The printer that I want isn't listed'.
Configure Standard TCP/IP Port
Select 'Add a printer using an IP address or hostname' > Device type: 'TCP/IP Device'. Enter your copier's static IP. Uncheck 'Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use' and click Next.
Load Driver INF & Set Default Grayscale
Click 'Have Disk...' > Browse to the extracted driver folder > select the .inf file. Once installed, open Printing Preferences to set default output to Black & White / Grayscale to avoid unnecessary color clicks.
